This new painting celebrates the joy that comes with spending time in nature along the coast at the height of summer. I used bold mark making and simplified shapes to let the color be the star of nature's show.
This painting was part of my recent solo exhibition Color by Nature at the Essex Meadows Gallery in Essex, CT.
