Spring Returns in the Watershed
Signs of spring are popping up with crocuses poking through the soil and songbirds returning. The early days of spring add energy and optimism to my studio. Painting with the lively hues of spring is always a visual delight. As I celebrate this season of renewal and growth, I am thrilled to have a solo exhibition “Watershed Journeys” at the Clare Gallery in Hartford.
Works in the show honor the Connecticut River and the surrounding watershed and estuaries. Over the past year I explored, and painted in, special places in the watershed and witnessed the unfolding seasons. The resulting paintings reflect the rhythms of renewal and life across the ecosystem. The exhibition is on view from March 22 through May 28, 2024. Click here to learn more about the show.
