Nature's Seasons - Our Seasons
As a landscape painter, I am passionate about celebrating the vitality of each passing season and how Nature is connected to the rhythms of our lives. Painting on location, I want to visually hold onto the beauty of the land, water, and sky in a particular moment and get to know those beautiful places that are worthy of our protection.
I am currently exhibiting with Jill Vaughn in the Gallery One CT Her Season exhibition. The work selected for the show reflects the cycle of life, for Mother Nature and my own. The paintings explore connections to color in the landscape with the major seasons of life. Spring sprouts vibrant greens as our lives move forward. During the long days of summer, nature flourishes as we enjoy renewal. Fall offers vibrant colors while we live life fully. And winter offers time for reflection and renewal as nature’s palette takes a rest.
